ImportYeti.com — US Import Records
importyeti.comShows actual US Customs shipping records — who is importing what, from which Indian supplier, and how much. Search "castor oil" and see every US company that has imported it from India. Then email them directly to offer better prices.
IndiaMART — International Buyer Enquiries
indiamart.comIndia's largest B2B portal. Many international buyers specifically search IndiaMART for Indian suppliers. Paid membership gives you access to buyer leads and featured listings. Also good for building domestic credibility.
TradeIndia.com
tradeindia.comSimilar to IndiaMART — good secondary platform for generating inbound enquiries. International buyers from Middle East and Africa use it frequently. Create a free profile at minimum.
🏛️ Tier 2 — Government Portals (Free & Trusted)
India Trade Portal — Buyer Database
indiatradportal.gov.inGovernment portal with a free international buyer directory. Search by product and country to get buyer company names and contact details. Underused by most exporters — this is your free advantage.

Spice Board of India — Buyer Leads

Low feesiHerb / Vitacost
US health supplement platforms. Apply as a supplier for Moringa Powder. These platforms have millions of health-conscious customers globally.
Best for MoringaStep-by-Step Lead Generation Process
Follow these steps in exact order. Do not skip ahead. Each step builds on the previous one.
Pick ONE Product to Start With
Do not try to market all 4 products at once. Choose ONE product for your first 60 days. Recommendation: Castor Oil (lowest competition, India has monopoly) or Cumin Seeds (fastest buyer response, Unjha is 120km away). Master one product first, then expand.
Get Your Credentials Ready
Before contacting any buyer you need: (1) Official company email — export@integrityinternational.in, (2) Product spec sheet as PDF, (3) SGS / Bureau Veritas quality test report, (4) RCMC from relevant export council. Buyers will ask for these in the first response.
Find Buyer Names on Volza.com / ImportYeti
Go to Volza.com. Search: "Castor Oil importer" + select country (start with USA, Germany, China). You will see a list of real companies that have actually imported castor oil — their company name, address, and sometimes contact details. Make a spreadsheet of 100 company names.
Find Their Email Address
Once you have a company name: (1) Go to their website and find "Contact Us" or "Procurement" email. (2) Use Hunter.io (free 25/mo) to find email addresses. (3) Use LinkedIn to find the Procurement Manager / Import Manager and message them directly. (4) Call their company phone and ask for the import/procurement department.
Send Personalised Email (Use Our Templates)
Send Email Template 1A from your official domain email. Attach your product spec sheet PDF. Keep the email short — 150 words maximum. Do NOT attach price in the first email (makes you look desperate). Goal of first email: get a reply asking for price/sample.
Follow Up on Day 5–6 (Email Template 1B)
Most deals happen after 2–3 follow-ups. Send a short follow-up email if no reply in 5 days. Then a WhatsApp message on Day 15. Then one final email on Day 30. After that, move them to a "cold" list and revisit in 3 months. Never be pushy — be patient and persistent.
Send Sample When Asked
When a buyer asks for a sample: (1) Confirm their courier account (DHL/FedEx) so they pay shipping. (2) Send sample within 48 hours of confirmation. (3) Attach COA (lab report) with the sample. (4) Follow up 7 days after sample is delivered to ask for feedback. This is your most important step — a good sample = an order.
Negotiate and Close the First Order
When the buyer is happy with the sample and asks for a price: (1) Give FOB price from your cost sheet (add 20–25% margin above your break-even). (2) Accept 30% advance + 70% against B/L for first order. (3) Use a freight forwarder (get 3 quotes). (4) Prepare all documents carefully — this is your first impression.
